I officially took on my first boudoir event. I was really nervous but everything went great!! These images were taken at the Hotel Vintage Plaza in downtown Portland. The room was tiny, and I had to get it all kinds of crazy positions but in the end it was a wonderful experience and I'm extremely happy with how the images came out. Thanks to all the lovely ladies that trusted me to take such intimate photographs and to my good friend Genevieve for during the ladies hair and makeup!
I was asked to photograph a family with 5 generations, which is amazing in its self. It just so happened to snow that day and out door family photos became indoor. I will be totally honest... the only thing I shoot indoors is weddings, boudoir and babies. The reason is that the lighting in doors is.. well.. it sucks! I am a natural light photographer and HATE using flash. However due to concerning health issues it was important to this family no matter what quality to have these photographs of them all together taken. Luckily I also got to take a few smaller family shots outside in the bit of snow that was left!
